Two focused pillars of impact — empowering girls and women and ensuring every child has the education, shelter, and nutrition they need to thrive.
This pillar serves two connected cohorts. For young girls, we invest in access to education, safe learning environments, and the confidence and opportunity to build their own futures. For college-age and young women, we fund vocational training, workforce readiness, and mentorship programs that create real pathways to economic independence. Together, these investments create a continuum of empowerment — from a girl's first classroom to a young woman's first career.
Education is the foundation of every opportunity that follows. But a child cannot learn without safe shelter and proper nutrition. The Foundation invests in all three as an integrated whole — because access to quality education only means something when the child is housed, fed, and safe.
Safe, stable shelter is a prerequisite for learning. The Foundation funds organizations providing safe housing, transitional shelter, and family stabilization programs so children have a secure foundation from which to grow.
Proper nutrition is inseparable from education and cognitive development. The Foundation supports school feeding programs, nutrition initiatives, and food security efforts that ensure children can be fully present in their education.
The Koshy Foundation partners with qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in communities locally and globally, guided by where investment in human potential will have the greatest and most lasting impact.
